To adopt a pet at our Clear the Shelter 2020 event, please follow the steps below:
1. Browse our available animals via our ADOPT page.
2. Learn more about their age, weight, and behavior, and complete an online application, listing at least one available animal on your application (you can list up to three choices and kittens will be available on a first come, first serve basis). Our adoption team will then call to schedule your adoption appointment. Only online applications will be considered for this event.
3. Once you make a final decision on the pet you’d like to join your family, our adoption team will process your adoption. All adopters receive 25 percent off in our PSAS store, so you are welcome to shop for your new pet while you’re at the Shelter!
- If you plan to adopt a dog, and you have a dog at home, please let our adoption counselor know when you schedule your appointment, so we can accommodate a dog-on-dog meet and greet during your visit.
- Only two family members will be permitted at the adoption appointment so we can maintain our COVID-19 social distancing guidelines. Guests will be encouraged to use hand sanitizer and all adoption stations will be sanitized before and after each visitor. Face coverings are required.
